Client Partners

When you are not ordering the gift cards directly for the end-user, it is necessary to provide information about the partner for whom the gift cards are ordered. This entity is called a client partner.

The client partners can be created through the API. It will be in state pending in the system until approved or rejected by finperks. Once a client partner was approved by finperks, orders can be executed on their behalf. In order to do that, the client partner id received from the API needs to be passed during order creation.

If a client partner is in state revoked after having previously been approved, orders can no longer be executed on their behalf.

Note that the customer id and corresponding limits will still be considered unique for your client and not within a client partner.
